Patrice O'Neal Was His Own Worst Enemy (w/Video)

This video includes two segments. In the first, Patrice apologizes to everyone for being difficult. He acknowledges his aloofness and understands why it isn't well received and how it can be perceived as being difficult. He also explains what he learned. Patrice discusses Chris Rock, Tough Crowd, The Office and Furry Vengeance. Seconds after the apology, he begins burning another bridge by explaining how the director of Furry Vengeance had no vision. They discuss the dance scene at the end of the movie (footage included) and discuss Jimmy's enthusiasm as well as Patrice's lack of enthusiasm in the scene. Patrice and Jimmy both speak highly of meeting and working with Brendan Fraser and Brooke Shields, especially Brooke Shields. This segment also features one of my favorite calls, by Keith in Louisville. The second segment is an excerpt from a Brooke Shields appearance, with Jimmy and Russell Peters in studio. Brooke explains how much she liked Patrice, talks about her experience working with him, and how he was his own worst enemy. Brooke tells us how she broke him down and the advice she offered to him on the set. I included another short video clip from Furry Vengeance of Patrice and Brooke's dance scene together as Brooke tells us how she taught Patrice how to dance and how to have rhythm.
