Using Mark Making in a Mixed Media Abstract Painting in My Sketchbook - Beginner Friendly and Fun

In this video I will be taking you through an abstract painting that I worked on in my sketchbook. I will be detailing how I created different marks using a variety of different tools and media. In addition, I will explain how I integrated the marks into the painting so that they were harmonious to the piece. This is an encouraging video where a fun approach to creating an abstract painting by beginning with mark making is shown. It is appropriate for beginner artists and other artists who want to have more fun and looseness in their work. Join me and paint along as I make a dynamic, mixed media abstract! Materials Used: acrylic paint in the colours Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, and Yellow Ochre Caran D'Ache Neocolor II crayons in Night Blue, Yellow Ochre, Aubergine and Purple Liquitex Acrylic Inks in Quinacridone Magenta, Phthalo Green (yellow shade) Bic mechanical pencil #2 (0.7mm) Bamboo skewer Palette knife Plastic knife
