HOW TO MAKE TWO CUPS OF WHITE RICE PERFECTLY|| THE PERFECT WHITE RICE| CARIBBEAN STYLE

*How to Make Perfect Caribbean-Style White Rice (2 Cups)* *Ingredients:* 2 tablespoons of oil 1/2 green onion (or 1 garlic clove) 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of salt 2 cups of water 2 cups of Madam Gougousse rice 2 tablespoons of salted butter *Instructions:* 1. Place a pot on the stove over medium-high heat (setting 6 or 7). Add 2 tablespoons of oil, 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of salt, and the chopped half of a green onion. Allow the green onion to fry for about one minute. 2. Add 2 cups of water to the pot and bring it to a boil. Taste the water to check for salt. 3. Once the water is boiling, wash the rice (do not wash the rice before the water boils). 4. Carefully add the washed rice to the pot, placing it in the same spot repeatedly to form a mound. Stir the rice, scraping the bottom of the pot while stirring. Let it cook for about 6 to 7 minutes. 5. When the water is almost completely absorbed, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Mix the butter into the rice until fully melted. 6. Reduce the heat to low (setting 2 or 3). Cover the pot with aluminum foil or a plastic bag, then place the pot lid on top. Allow the rice to cook for 30 minutes undisturbed. 7.
