McKinsey, the former commander of the 444th Air Base, as he transfers to a new post in Osean-allied territory. The mission is primarily a defensive escort operation set in a desert environment, requiring the player to hunt down and destroy camouflaged Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) sites that are not immediately visible on radar, often tracking them by their missile contrails. Throughout the flight, the player must balance searching for these ground targets while actively intercepting waves of Erusean fighters and interceptors that periodically attack the transport.
