Then new assistants appear: for cleaning, laundry, cooking, drinks, music, lighting, and mood. The apartment gradually transforms into an ideal home, where everything works for the owner's comfort. But Robert Sheckley wouldn't be Sheckley if this convenient fantasy didn't harbour a more disturbing question: what happens to a person when the world begins to fulfill their desires too well?
