Fiat Palio Kombi Magazyn Auto TVP2

This excerpt comes from the wonderful and unique automotive program "Auto Magazine," which appeared periodically on TVP2 in the 1990s. Its hosts were the coveted EDITORS Jerzy Iwaszkiewicz and Antoni Mielniczuk (others like Ryszard Cydejko and Aureliusz Mikos also frequently appeared). Usually dressed in elegant suits, the editors (compared to today's geeks with headcams—they deserve the title) captivated a generation of people born in the communist era with motoring. They did it in a way that makes them worth listening to even after all these years. Their program lacked vulgarity, but featured solid, factual craftsmanship. In short, it's excellent material for analysis, for example, in journalism studies. The test narration was provided by Antoni Mielniczuk or Leszek Sznyter. Most of the tests were conducted in the park on ul. Papirusów in Warsaw's Bielany district and on the route through Łomianki towards Palmiry.
