Azula's mental breakdown: A princess' fall from grace (why did azula go crazy?)

Azula becoming insane at the end of Avatar is a bit jarring. this mental breakdown can seem like it comes out of nowhere but the show does a wonderful job of setting this up. from her obsession with her Mother, Ursa loving Zucko, her need to be validated by Ozai, her obsession with being perfect at the core of her personality. Her vision of Ursa at the end of the series is her mind bringing up old scars. That Ursa cared about Zucko where she did not care about Azula or she thinks. it was not until the second viewing of the series that I started to notice all of these parts. this leads to the character that is able to fall from grace fantastically Anyways I am the Forgotten Crtittic and I hope you enjoy this video Essay.
