Optimizing OCT for Optic Nerve Edema in Pediatric and Adult Patients
During this interactive video tutorial, Shaina M. Sullivan, OD educates on using OCT for assessing optic nerve edema. Through the review of Dr. Sullivan's compelling and moving cases, she demonstrates how to analyze optic nerve appearance in pediatric and adult patients, how to recognize the causes of optic nerve edema in pediatric versus adult patients, including life-threatening etiologies, how to differentiate papilledema from pseudopapilledema with OCT and demonstrates the utilization of an algorithm for evaluating and managing patients with suspected papilledema. Dr. Shaina Sullivan attended Oregon State University and later Pacific University where she earned her doctorate. She is on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association and was awarded Oregon Young OD of the Year in 2022. She is currently in private practice at McBride Optometrists in Beaverton, Oregon, USA. __________________________________________________________________________________ FOLLOW US ON » Linkedin: / heidelberg-engineering MORE INFORMATION » Website: https://www.heidelbergengineering.com/ » Academy: https://he-academy.com » Know the Eye: https://www.know-the-eye.com/ » Imprint: https://business-lounge.heidelbergeng... » Privacy Police: https://www.heidelbergengineering.com...
