Flying Iraqi Airways to Baghdad… Here’s What Happened | BEY - BGW | 737-800

Airline: Iraqi Airways Aircraft: Boeing 737-800 Route: Beirut (BEY) → Baghdad (BGW) Seat: 23A After spending time exploring Lebanon and Syria, it was finally time to continue my Middle Eastern adventure and head somewhere I honestly never thought I’d get the chance to visit — Iraq 🇮🇶 Join me as I fly with Iraqi Airways aboard one of their Boeing 737-800s from Beirut to Baghdad on a flight that turned out to be far more interesting than I expected. In this video, I take a look at Lebanon’s Rafic Hariri International Airport before boarding Iraq’s national airline for the short journey across Syria and western Iraq into Baghdad. Onboard, we’ll check out the economy class seats, inflight entertainment system, meal service, cabin features, and overall experience flying one of the Middle East’s more unusual airlines. Along the way, I also talk a bit about the history and future of Iraqi Airways and what it was like finally flying an airline I never expected I’d get to experience. *Unedited takeoff and landing footage on NYC Flyer Plus.
