Ronnie "The Hawk" Hawkins (1935–2022) was an American-born rockabilly legend who seamlessly wove himself into Canadian music-history and culture. As a music mentor, Ronnie shaped and molded many musicians including "The Band", Gowan, The Weber Brothers, many of our local talent and even a few family members. Inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2004 and in 2014 appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.
