Pedrinho was a very affectionate, obedient, and friendly boy. But Pedrinho wasn't always a happy and cheerful boy. He lost interest in everything and grew tired of the same games and of tidying up so many toys. Pedrinho was playing with his toys when he saw a boy looking at him. He was a poor boy. Pedrinho saw the boy laugh. And that's how a friendship was born between Pedrinho and Luisinho. Luisinho had never received a birthday, Children's Day, or Christmas present. Pedrinho then set aside most of his toys to give to Luisinho. This friendship and his gesture led Pedrinho to discover a very beautiful feeling: Happiness and peace of mind, as if God had touched his heart through solidarity and love for others.
