The slow pace of life, it takes some adjusting to. 4. Long summer nights but thank goodness for blackout blinds and eye masks. 5. Icelandic driving is bad, people don't signal or just leave it on and the roundabouts here are mad. 6. People are very direct, they do not hold back and manners aren't very important. 7. The Icelandic language is hard to pronounce and the grammar is very challenging. 8. There is a lack of grocery options and fresh produce. 9. It’s a small place, people judge by what you do and if you do something they don't understand, well?!! 10.
