10 Fixes for Curse of Strahd's Werewolves 🐺 D&D 5e

The Werewolf Den is disappointingly basic as written, but there are heaps of prompts for motivated DMs to develop. The Werewolf Den has werewolf NPCs, intrigue between Emil and Kiril, a tie to Castle Ravenloft, child violence, and a Mother Night shrine with impressive (though cursed) loot. I will provide you with tools to make the werewolves more interesting while seamlessly introducing them into your campaign. Curse of Strahd, as written, is full of content that enables us as DMs to extrapolate and build upon it, so I intend to do that. I won’t reinvent the wheel; I’ll add to what the module has given us. This video should help you see how the werewolves can fit into the overall narrative of the campaign, enhance any themes you’re exploring, and give you another settlement of sorts to explore in the power struggles and horrors of Barovia.
