Repertoire: Bax on the Cornish Coast--Tintagel
Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, inspired this magnificent tone poem, which opens with one of the great seascapes in the orchestral repertoire. It has been recorded relatively often considering the general neglect of Arnold Bax's work, and as you can hear for yourself, it deserves to become an international favorite.
