Kruger National Park Vlog Part 2 / Hazyview / Blyde River Canyon / Elephant Interaction

Welcome back to part 2 of our holiday at the Kruger National Park! This year we decided to explore the area around the KNP and decided to head to Hazyview Cabanas for the week. This part of South Africa is absolutely stunning! What we will show you in this video: Blyde River Canyon cruise. 3 Rondavels. Bourke's Luck Potholes. Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary. Kruger National Park. We were SO lucky this year to have met the Wild Dogs on numerous occasions which is something we don't see very often. No matter what the conditions, the KNP has our hearts forever. If you are ever in the Afsaal picnic spot area, do yourself a favor and grab a delicious roosterkoek. They are made fresh daily and is such a treat! Experiencing the Blyde River Canyon and the 3 Rondavels was absolutely amazing. The boat cruise was definitely our favorite. A once in a lifetime experience for us was the day we interacted with the 2 male elephant bulls at the Hazyview Sanctuary. One cannot help but shed a tear once you get up close with these majestic animals. Unfortunately, during editing we received the news that these 2 elephants tragically died under sedation. They were in the process of being transported to a different sanctuary. This news shattered our hearts as these 2 gentle giants climbed into our hearts and have stayed there ever since. We are just thankful for the time we could spend together and for giving us a new perspective as to what our views are of elephants. "I have a memory like and elephant.
