Faith isn’t a feeling—it’s loyalty you can see. Romans 4 shows how Abraham proved his faith, and why just going through the motions or thinking you’re “born into it” doesn’t get you the life eternal ticket. Paul and James aren’t enemies; they’re two sides of one coin. Paul’s midrash on Genesis plus James (Ya‘akov) shows Abraham as the model, and that the Gospel saves Jew + Gentile on the same terms—God counts righteousness through trust first, and deeds follow as the proof of real faith.
