A new episode of the "Bonsai History" series: The Brucker-Lager-Marsch (also: Bruckerlager-Marsch) was written in 1874 by Johann Nepomuk Král, a military bandmaster of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, who was born in Mainz, for the officers of the Imperial and Royal Infantry Regiment Guidobald Graf von Starhemberg No. 13 and was given the serial number opus 51. This piece of music was also very popular in the German Empire, so much so that it was included in the catalog of "German Army Marches" as Army March IIIB,92. Here it is performed by the West German Fife and Drum Corps of the German Armed Forces Band from Siegburg, conducted by Master Sergeant Armin Jakobi.
