Li Shang x Ariel: Can You Hold Me

She falls in love with him and wants to be with him before he goes off to war. Ursula finds out and helps her niece become a human to be with Shang. When she becomes a human, Shang finds her and helps Ariel get to a safer place to get cleaned and wear decent clothes. He then notices something about Ariel to realize that she was a mermaid, except when he went to go visit the king he tells him that Ariel shouldn't be here and go to safer territory. Shang tells Ariel that she cannot stay with him when he goes to war, she cries and runs away in tears wanting to stay with him. Her father finds out what the situation is after she transformed back into a mermaid and made her become a human to stay with Shang.
