CACAO & PAZ, CHOCOLATE COLOMBIANO DEL AMAZONAS PARA EL MUNDO

From the farms and smallholdings of the Colombian Amazon, a unique cacao is cultivated, with fruity flavor notes and produced using high-quality, sustainable processes, zero deforestation, and agroecological production practices. Its production is the result of the careful work of farmers and indigenous people who preserve the territory while strengthening their economy. According to history, the origin of cacao in this region dates back more than 5,300 years, in a territory shared by Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. Today, from Caquetá, Guaviare, and Putumayo, this product is gaining ground not only in the sale of the beans but also in its transformation into chocolates, gummies, bonbons, and other derivatives, positioning itself in national and international markets such as Germany, France, and Italy. _______________________________ #AmazonianCocoa and Peace is a project that aims to help 607 small-scale producers and 9 associations cultivate Amazonian cocoa using agroecological practices, strengthen their organizations, access differentiated markets, and contribute to deforestation-free supply chains. It is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Alisos, WWF Colombia, and WWF Germany.
