Austronesian Language Introduction - Saisiyat Tribe - Taiwan
During the 2020 National Indigenous Speech Competition in Nantou County, Taiwan, we interviewed a student from the Saisiyat tribe, who agreed to share a little of her native language. Taiwan has 16 indigenous Austronesian languages that are actually taught in public schools to indigenous students, and they hold language contests to reward and motivate students.
