Cleaning - Vintage Paperback + Book Pick Ups - March 2022 - Incredible Finds - ASMR, Maybe! In this video I take a look through my pick-ups of vintage paperbacks, hardbacks and other bits and pieces that came my way during the month of March 2022. This month includes more vintage pre-war paperbacks from the old couple I have been buying off, some great Penguin Books promotional items, a few vintage DAW books, Toucan Books, a full set of Penguin Scores and even a couple more vintage Star Trek books I've not got. A great month! These all needed cleaning and making good. It took awhile but the results were great and these will make a worthy addition to my collection. I hope you enjoy it! I go through the process I use when cleaning my latest vintage paperback and hardback book pick-ups and acquisitions. I like to brush the top edges to remove dust, rub out pencil marks inside, sort out folded-over page corners and give any glossy covers a bit of a buffing! It's a very therapeutic and satisfying task which I thought I'd share with you in a video. As an aside. I've had lots of people comment lately about my voice. The general consensus is that it's pretty soothing and actually has ASMR triggers in it! I know I speak quite softly but I'd never really considered this to be a reason why people subscribe, until now!
