How to Draw A Navigational Compass - Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

In this tutorial, we'll teach you how to draw an antique navigational compass. You'll be using the rotate, scale and blend tools to make all the features found in this design. This tutorial is great for people looking to distribute objects around a circle using the rotate tool. It's a really simple tool to learn to use. To make the shadow, simply copy the largest circle and paste it behind the compass. Give it a grey color and then hold shift and displace it slightly by 45 degrees towards the bottom right.
