CONWY MOUNTAIN. A walk to the top with wonderful views.

Conwy Mountain, or in Welsh, Mynydd y Dref, meaning 'mountain of the Town', is 244m (801ft) high, and at it's summit is an iron age hillfort 'Castell Caer Seion', which contains about 50 Neolithic hut circles. The walk starts outside St. Gwynan's church in the village of Dwygyfylchi, and follows the stream to the base of Sychnant Pass, which we climb with Allt Wen to the left. Then up to the summit and down the other side with the estuary and Conwy Castle in view most of the way down.
