Old Goethals Bridge eastbound [Early 2016 Construction Update]

The Goethals Bridge (Interstate 278) carries four narrow lanes of traffic over the Arthur Kill, connecting western Staten Island with New Jersey. The bridge opened in 1928, providing the island's first fixed automobile link along with the nearby Outerbridge Crossing.
