TRIP REPORT | First Time on Delta A350! | Atlanta to Paris CDG | DELTA Airbus A350-900

Delta Airlines Trip Report flying from Atlanta to Paris Charles de Gaulle onboard one of the Delta Airbus A350-900 on a really beautiful night and morning over the US, the Atlantic, and western Europe. A really comfortable flight with Delta from Atlanta to Paris on a brand-new Delta A350. The A350 is an amazing plane. Together with the Boeing 787 will rule the long-haul routes for the next 15-20 years. The Delta one is really nice, featuring the new seats and cabin illumination. Also, before starting the flight, we enjoyed an amazing planespotting session. It was perfect to see so many different airplane models! The route was really nice as well: after an amazing night takeoff from Atlanta airport, we flew over Washington, New York, and Boston, just before entering the Atlantic. After 3-4 hours over the ocean, the Sunrise started. It was just amazing, magical. The plane was in complete silence, everyone was sleeping. Everyone except OnBoardHD, of course! :) The service, however, was probably the worst I have ever seen on a plane: I took the chicken option for dinner and it was just impossible to eat. It was an extremely artificial non-taste piece of something that pretended to be chicken, over something that pretended to be vegetables. Extremely disappointed with Delta on that. A really poor service. Just before descent, they distributed a very small breakfast that was better than the dinner. The fruit, although it was a very reduced portion, was tasty and looked fresh. The sandwich wasn't bad and the coffee tasted surprisingly good. An especial mention as well for the landing and the different airlines we saw during taxi at Charles de Gaulle airport. Having the Concorde so close to us was an amazing experience. We could see lots of different airlines before reaching our gate, including Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Air Austral, Qatar Airways, Air Mauritius, Air Canada, Ethiopian...
