Never throw it away if it has dried out and seems unusable. I'll show you what to do in such a situation. First, to make sure the silicone is completely dry, I open it up. There is still plenty of fresh silicone inside that can be used, so never rush to throw it away. The upper part is already dry and contains pieces of dried glue, which are carefully removed. Also, be sure to remove dried silicone from the spout itself using a long self-tapping screw. To restore the consistency of the silicone, heat the top of the plastic cap with a hair dryer or lighter, and then place it on the silicone tube. Now you can continue to use your silicone caulk without throwing it away if it dries out. In addition, I want to show you how to apply caulk correctly to get a smooth seam. If your seam is uneven and unsightly, try applying silicone sealant in an even line and using liquid soap. To ensure your silicone never dries out, I recommend using toothpaste to seal the tube.
