They were lured to a free consultation with promises of help, and then pressured into taking out yet another loan—either to pay for legal services or simply to restructure existing debts. These loans—100, 200, or 300 thousand rubles—were issued against the apartment as collateral, and it later turned out that the individuals had somehow signed a mortgage agreement with an individual. The victims were told they didn't have to rush to pay, and then, in court, they were deprived of their apartments. And then the bailiffs arrived to forcibly evict him. It's a mystery: how did Rosreestr overlook mortgage agreements with an individual, and how the Sovetsky District Court kept issuing rulings in favor of the fraudster, one after another, while he continued his activities even after the criminal case was opened and the trial began.
