Sonicake Smartbox. A really capable and affordable legit tool!

Hello all. This week I'm reviewing the Smartbox from Sonicake. A really capable all round multi FX and amp modeller. The Smartbox picks up where their very popular Pocket Master left off. Taking the desktop modeler and moving it into a compact stomp format. The Smartbox combines all the amps you'd need with very useable effects, a decent looper, a drum machine and a really great phone editor that connects via blue tooth. It also facilitates NAM Captures which opens up it's capacity further. But for me the key thing here is the optional external footswitch / expression input. Adding a two button footswitch effectively allows you to use the two onboard footswitches to cycle through presets and then use the extra two switches to turn on and off individual or groups of effects within those presets. This allows for a set list based gigging setup tat works really well for a product of this size and price. All in a really credible choice for direct gigging tones and switching.
