With the economy stagnating and prices rising due to fuel costs caused by the war, we are facing a severe recession with no jobs available. I am doing my best to submit my resume to every position I can handle, but the response I receive is that they are not hiring. I have submitted my resume to as many places as possible to find employment—including Work & Income, which handles welfare services; Jobs.govt.nz, the government-run job site; the Department of Conservation; and private companies—and I am currently just waiting for a response. This is the first time I have experienced a situation where there are absolutely no jobs available... Still, if I keep searching until the end, a job will surely come along, right? I believe that if you seek with hope and without giving up, you can find it. I am searching with a prayerful heart... Since this is my new life in New Zealand, I have to handle administrative tasks for settlement and manage daily life, etc.... Although the environment is not easy, I am grateful that I am gradually adapting and things are getting better. I hope everyone stays strong during these difficult times.
