M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Project - Heritage Week update lecture by Trish Long

Rubicon Heritage’s Senior Archaeologist Trish Long gave a public presentation on the background and progress to date of the archaeological works associated with the development of the M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Project. The talk, which also included an introduction by Ed Lyne (Cork County Council Resident Archaeologist), was given at Raffeen Creek Golf Course, on the 19th of August as part of Heritage Week 2022. The M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Project is the upgrade by Cork County Council of approximately 12.5km of the N28 National Primary Route from the N40 South Ring Road, at Bloomfield Interchange, to Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Transport Infrastructure Ireland is the sanctioning agency for this project.
