Sessão Solene de Diploma e a Medalha do Mérito Legislativo ao Cooperativismo 01-07-2026

The Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul (ALEMS) will hold a solemn session in the plenary, starting at 7 pm this Wednesday (1st), to award the Diploma and Medal of Legislative Merit in Honor of South Mato Grosso Cooperativism. Proposed by Deputy Professor Rinaldo Modesto (União), the ceremony will honor individuals and legal entities that stand out in the provision of services, development and strengthening of the cooperative movement in the State. The honors were established by Resolution 22/2025, authored by Professor Rinaldo. This regulation was recently amended with the approval of a proposal also authored by the parliamentarian. With the change, the expression "sul-mato-grossense" was included in the name of the awards. The change sought to value the local identity and regional performance of the sector. In addition to the proposing deputy, the ceremony will be attended by representatives from the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB), the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso do Sul (Famasul), and the Secretariat of Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Semadesc). Leaders and representatives of the cooperative movement in Mato Grosso do Sul are also expected. Cooperativism Data from 2024 from the OCB System shows that Mato Grosso do Sul has 492,349 cooperative members and totals R$ 33.72 billion in assets, registering a significant growth of 14.5% compared to 2023. Service The solemn session will be broadcast live on all official channels of the State Parliament, with coverage from the Institutional Communication Secretariat: Facebook, YouTube, TV ALEMS and Rádio ALEMS, in addition to publications on the ALEMS Portal and Instagram. TV ALEMS and Rádio ALEMS also have open signals, respectively on channel 7.2 and FM 105.5. Photographic records will be available in the image bank of the ALEMS Portal.
