God Day How the Just shall live

In this episode of God Day, Regan King teaches from Galatians and Habakkuk on the biblical truth that “the just shall live by faith.” Beginning in Galatians, Regan explains the background to Paul’s letter, where false teachers were troubling the churches by adding works of the law to the Gospel. He shows how Paul confronts the idea that people can be made right with God through ethnic identity, religious dedication, family background, outward ceremonies, good works, zeal, or personal righteousness. Drawing from Galatians 2 and 3, Regan highlights that no one is justified by works of the law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. He explains that true faith is not merely an academic belief that God exists, but a living trust in Christ as Saviour and Lord. The Christian life begins with faith in Christ and continues as believers live in union with Him, able to say with Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” The teaching also explores Christ’s redemption from the curse of the law, showing how Jesus became a curse for us through the cross, purchasing freedom for those who belong to Him. Regan reminds viewers that believers are not defined by their failures, background, religious reputation, or attempts to justify themselves, but by the finished work of Christ. Turning to Habakkuk, Regan applies this truth to times of darkness, confusion, injustice, and uncertainty. Even when the world feels unstable, Scripture calls God’s people to live by faith, trusting the Lord’s character, salvation, and strength. This episode encourages viewers to stop striving for righteousness in their own strength and instead rest, rejoice, and walk by faith in the One who has made them alive in Christ.
