Saeko Suzuki — No Life King No Music (1989)

Saeko Suzuki's fifth album, a soundtrack for the film No Life King (...which I can't find anything on). After four albums of experimental art pop/new wave and working with people such as her then-husband, Keiichi Suzuki (Moonriders frontman and EarthBound composer) and XTC's Andy Partridge, this instrumental album shows off her most avant-garde tendencies and sound design skill. There's traditional soundtrack material, sampler instrument soundscapes (buckle up vaporwave dorks!), and some proto-IDM. 1) Life King 00:00 2) S-8 to T-8 02:42 3) A Ripple 05:37 4) Fat's 07:23 5) Life King-Vision 1 08:20 6) ♂♀*+∞ [Otoko・Onna・Sei・Shi・Mugendai] 10:36 7) T-8 to S-8 15:06 8) Feel or Deal 18:04 9) Mother 21:31 10) Hello 24:03 11) Forbidden Mode 26:42 12) Party Attack 31:16 13) A Stone of Wiseman 34:04 14) Reset 37:58 15) Real 40:26
