Michael Hedges has inspired a number of great fingerstylists. Hearing that I would be in Montreal for Michael Manring and Calum Graham's Quebec tour, two fingerstyle friends said, you HAVE to visit Erik Mongrain. One said, "Of all the Hedges acolytes, I think he is the most creative/interesting."
