Try it, and you'll be hooked! ---------- INGREDIENTS FOR 10 WAFFLES 500 g flour 130 g granulated sugar 1 egg 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of cinnamon 125 ml water 200 g butter 21 g fresh yeast A fruit compote ---------- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the dry ingredients. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water. Add it to the dry ingredients. Add the egg. Mix with the paddle attachment. Gradually add the softened butter, cut into cubes. When the dough forms a smooth ball, cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for one hour. Prepare balls of dough weighing approximately 100g each. Roll them out to the size of two waffle irons. For example, for an 8x14cm iron, roll them out to 18x15cm. Spread the filling over one half of the dough, leaving a border. Brush the edges with egg wash and fold the other half of the dough over. Make sure to seal the edges well!
