Irina Medvedeva, a clinical psychologist, member of the Russian Writers' Union, director of the Institute of Demographic Security, and vice president and co-founder of the Interregional Foundation for Social and Psychological Assistance to Families and Children, met with residents of Berdsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, on March 1, 2021. During the meeting, the lecturer identified dangerous myths of modern parenting that are actively promoted but can lead to the destruction of a child's personality. Irina Medvedeva also outlined protective barriers that will prepare a child for life outside the home. She also clearly demonstrated that an information war is raging in our country, and the "bombs" of this war are falling on our children. Furthermore, the link between morality and children's mental health was explored. She also explored whether boredom is harmful to a child and what parents should do if they discover various addictions (gaming, pornography, etc.) in their children. The functions of the "willpower corset" are discussed, and how the adoption of the domestic violence law will impact ordinary parents, who don't even suspect that their support for this law has already been labeled as abusers. The topic of distance learning imposed on our citizens also came up. The harm caused by distance learning far outweighs the benefits promised by the "digitalizers."
