Rusted boat trailer repair... angle iron "splint"

Rusted boat trailer repair... angle iron "splint" We bought a new to us boat and the trailer was in pretty bad shape. It was actually rusted completely through on the front cross-member and a crack can be seen. I think it may have only been held in place by the rubber bumper that is attached. I used a template and some angle iron to bend a splint that I then bolted to the cross member to keep it from breaking and was able to take the boat 2.5 hours on the highway to Port O Connor without any issues. I love these shoes... get your pair today! https://bit.ly/37peTUR My gear: The external recorder is a must when using a cell phone and will help with audio sync when editing.
