The penny-farthing is one of the earliest and most basic types of bicycle. It became a cultural symbol of the late Victorian era. The pedals are mounted on the front wheel hub, with the rider's saddle almost directly above them. The high seat height and center of gravity shifted toward the front wheel make this type of bicycle both dangerous and attractive. Today, there are many types of bicycles: city, mountain, road, hybrid, cargo, electric, and more. Kirill manufactures classic bicycles from the late 19th century. This is an almost entirely Russian production, located in Ivanovo. The penny-farthing has fallen on hard times, but thanks to Kirill's workshop, this movement may regain its popularity.
