Terex Fuchs - "Leading in Loading" is the motto of Terex Fuchs. The traditional manufacturer Fuchs from Bad Schönborn is celebrating its 125th anniversary and is also showcasing old and new material handling machines, such as the new Terex Fuchs MHL 385. In addition to a number of vintage models – including the legendary Fuchs 301 – the MHL 385 will also be presented for the first time. The 78-ton machine is specially designed for port handling and can load ships up to the Handysize class. The MHL 385 was designed and built in the company's own Application Center. The 30 employees also implement even exotic customer requests. Like the MHL 250 E ("Baby Fuchs"), which was already presented at IFAT 2014, the new MHL 385 represents a change in internal strategy: Terex Fuchs aims to become less dependent on the volatile scrap business and to broaden its portfolio. 30 percent scrap, 30 percent recycling, 30 percent port handling, and 10 percent timber handling – this is the future direction.
