Joker, la valse d’un pantin

But why is this film already a cult classic, barely released? Why did "Joker" win a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival? It's completely baffling. This umpteenth reimagining of Batman's iconic antagonist is nothing but an empty shell. Todd Phillips' direction is superficial and incredibly shaky. The actors are devoid of character and performance: Joaquin Phoenix has nothing to work with, and Robert De Niro merely makes a cameo appearance. The result is a work about evil that's nothing more than a smokescreen, a film about madness that rivals "The King of Comedy." Let's be clear: steer clear, there's nothing to see here. Hosted by Thomas Rozec with Julien Dupuy, David Honnorat, and Stéphane Moïssakis.
