From destruction to dignity: a new start in Yemen

“We had to sell our livestock on the day we were displaced, and completely lost our sources of income," shared Zainab, a displaced woman in Taiz, Yemen. She and her community were forced to flee because of the war in Yemen, and now live in a small camp in the mountains with few facilities. Our team in #Yemen, with support from ‪@EUcrisisresponse‬ as part of our work with the Yemen Displacement Response Consortium, helped Zainab and other displaced families access basic services. As part of our integrated response, we provided ID papers, solar power and lighting, clean water and hygiene kits.
