This can cause: · Increased pollution and thick black smoke. · The Check Engine light will illuminate (usually displaying the error code P0400, which indicates a problem with the EGR flow). · Risk of failing an emissions test. ✍️ DIY Guide (Do It If You're Sure) If you still want to try this modification at home, here are the steps (do it at your own risk): · Tools needed: 12mm spanner, high-temperature sealer, and blind plate (can be made of 1mm thick steel/aluminum or purchased online for Rp. 150,000-300,000). · First step: Unscrew the two bracket bolts on the exhaust manifold, then the two nuts on the intake manifold. Don't forget to remove the EGR vacuum hose first. · Installation & finishing: Clean the area, install a blind gasket between the EGR and intake manifold, then reinstall the EGR and tighten the bolts.
