Fuuhin, Touhin, Ryuhin, and Youhin were all born at Adventure World in Wakayama, Japan. Today, they live at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China, where each of them is enjoying a peaceful and healthy life. In this video, we capture their natural behavior as they happily enjoy bamboo shoots and bamboo. Fuuhin is the youngest member of the famous "Hama Family." She was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, when her birth was successfully supported entirely by the Japanese panda care team. Even in Chengdu, she remains a great eater, and her calm, easygoing personality is just as many fans remember. Touhin is known for her curious and energetic personality. As a cub, she delighted visitors by perfectly mirroring the movements of her older sister, Ouhin, in their famous "synchronized" bamboo-eating behavior. Today, she appears relaxed and well adapted to her life in Chengdu. Ryuhin was one of the first giant panda twins ever born in Japan. Now 22 years old, he continues to enjoy bamboo shoots with a healthy appetite, reflecting the peaceful life he leads today. Youhin is known as the world's first giant panda born in captivity during the winter season (December). Since returning to China in 2004, he has fathered more than 15 cubs, making an important contribution to the breeding program and helping secure the future of giant pandas. These pandas, born in Japan, now play meaningful roles in conservation and breeding efforts in China, contributing to the long-term survival and genetic diversity of their species.
