University of Galway: South Campus Tour | earlier known as NUIG (4K)

The National Institution of Ireland Galway (NUIG) is an Irish public research university based in Galway. A research and tertiary education institution. It is one of Ireland's most esteemed universities. The name of the university has changed three times: Queen's College Galway was founded in 1849. University College Galway, or UGC for short, was founded in 1908. It was renamed the National University of Ireland Galway, or NUI Galway for short, in 1997.
