Easter Rising Parade in Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary, Ireland 1966
The Minister for Fisheries and Agriculture Charles Haughey attended ceremonies in Cloughjordan, County Tipperary to mark the 50th anniversary of the Easter Rising. A parade and speeches took place in Cloughjordan, the birthplace of Thomas McDonagh, one of the leaders of the Rising and a signatory of the Proclamation. Lieutenant M J Costello gave the oration.
