Acer V3 772G - maintenance

After some years of use (and abuse) my V3 starting to became a little too hot. When new, on idle, system fan never start... under 38° the fan is shutted down. In the last month i notice that cpu temperatures were rising too much: 55° on light web browsing... 78/80° in gaming or high load activities. Way too much for me... so, heavy maintenance time! New thermal paste, artic mx-4 non conductive, new thermal pad on video ram and mosfet. Usually I make some ordinary maintenance once in a month, spraying with my air compressor through the air vent and grills... and it helps to keep clean fan and heatpipes radiator, but not forever. There was a lot of condensed dust inside che heatpipe radiator, impossible to reach without dismantling dissipator and fan. The fan itself was really dirty. The whole process took a few hours (recording this video slowed it a bit), and now my "notsoold" notebook is healty and ready for this summer! During the render of this video, on Ae cs4, max cpu temp was 62°, gpu 55°, and it took about one hour to be done: i'm really happy with this result. Be aware: this operation will invalidates your pc warranty. Notebook specs: i7 4702mq - gtx 760m - ssd sandisk 480gb - ssd msata toshiba 128gb - hdd 1Tb - 16gb ddr3 ram - 17" fhd
