This isn't some anti-capitalist manifesto or me telling anyone else how to live, it's just what I needed to do for my own mental and physical health. I actually spent a lot of time looking at villages in Central America. But I eventually realized that the "vibe" I was looking for there was exactly what we already had here in Thailand. Plus, my wife Pinky’s family is here, so the connection to this place is real.
