Vintage Upstream Wet Fly Fishing
Former Appletreewick, Barden and Burnsall Angling Club president Hebert Normington fishing the traditional upstream wet flies on the Kilnsey Angling Club waters of the River Wharfe. The footage was taken from Anglers Corner presented by Bernard Venables. Not only does it show the delicate and sophisticated upstream wet technique, but also the blinkered and pompous attitude of the southern chalk-stream stockie bashers.
