Twelve Dimensional World (1985) — Tim Stebbing

In 1985, following the Glimmerlight's fall, Tim Stebbing remained on Earth with his Blue Crystal. As rumors spread that the Progbarians would one day return, Stebbing devoted himself to understanding the world around him and within him. He was convinced that reality contained far more than could be perceived at first glance, and that only his music could fully open the doors of perception. . . . It was during this period that Stebbing recorded Twelve Dimensional World. Through pieces such as Wondering, Out of Chaos, and Brainwave, he suggested that curiosity, observation, and imagination were the paramount Sagegazer subroutines. On the Offworld Colony, the cassette was regarded as the finest expression of Stebbing's philosophy: that the deepest discoveries were made not by seeking another girl or another planet, but by learning to appreciate one's present more completely. . . . The Sagegazer learns that the deepest journeys begin by seeing the present anew. 0:00 Wondering 4:29 Out of Chaos 9:25 Hulusbolus 12:35 In Flows of Time 18:31 Light of Days 24:04 Trapped 29:52 Reach Out 33:01 Schottische 35:15 Science is Golden 38:31 Brainwave 42:32 Dark Current 50:18 Juggernaut 56:09 Corinna Support the artist here: https://tim-stebbing.bandcamp.com
