Kingdom Builder | Kingdom Tools - Dr. Maggie Rodriguez

Dr. Maggie is in the house and preached a timely word for our June sermon series, Kingdom Builder: using your time, talent, and treasure to build The Kingdom. Scripture: Matthew 6:10 A Kingdom Builder does not just build with resources. They build with the heart, character, and tools. 01 Forgiveness Forgiveness is one of the tools God gives us to build His Kingdom because we cannot build with offense in our hearts. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 02 Compassion Compassion allows us to see people the way God sees them. Kingdom builders do not just complete tasks, they care for people. “Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12 03 Empathy Empathy helps us carry the heart of Christ into every room. We learn to celebrate with others and we learn to sit with them in pain. “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Romans 12:15 04 Patience Patience reminds us that Kingdom work is not always instant. We stay faithful while God is still working. “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12 05 Prayer Prayer is the foundation of every Kingdom builder. We do not build from anxiety, pressure, or fear. We build from the peace and presence of God. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6-7 The Kingdom is built through surrendered people who carry the tools of Heaven into the earth. If we are praying, “Your Kingdom come,” then we must also ask God to make our hearts ready to build what He wants to establish through us.
